Crafting a Space for Conversation

In the majlis soft neutrals such as rich cream and subtle taupe create a feeling of calm tranquility. Texture is introduced with the incorporation of materials such as wood, Murano glass, silk, crystal and ceramic. The arrangement of the room showcases a stunning handcrafted wall installation resembling the petals of a flower. On either side, decorative crystal panels with cove lighting generate a soft warm radiance. A striking multi-tiered chandelier handcrafted with textured Murano leaves forms a standout centerpiece illuminated by cove lighting in the evening and natural light in the day. A hand-painted wallcovering combines soft gold, silver, and platinum tones in a design reminiscent of organic rock strata or a soft-hued landscape.

To create a conversation space furniture is arranged symmetrically, with sofas and armchairs positioned around a central coffee table. The architectural layout includes a main entrance door and two symmetrically placed sliding doors that connect the majlis to the adjacent dining area. The sliding doors enable flexible privacy and seamless circulation between the spaces.

A Unique Interplay Between Organic and Geometrical Forms

Intriguing sculptural forms characterize the design of the grand double-height lobby. The layout features a symmetrical seating arrangement with two sofas and four swivel chairs, within an interior landscape of potted trees and decorative marble stones. These organic elements are juxtaposed beautifully with rectangular patterned textured travertine cladding, an abstract metallic artwork installation and a vast circular bronze chandelier.  Circular motifs and curvilinear forms interplay with geometric lines and straight-edged patterns. A metal decorative partition with a repeating lattice pattern serves as both a functional and decorative element, separating the seating area from the hallway while maintaining a sense of openness.

The Sultan Al Naseer Project elevates a voluminous space into a place of unique artistry and luxurious comfort.
